Together, these frameworks help companies set measurable sustainability goals, optimize processes, and ensure responsible practices throughout the organization.

What does multisite mean during an audit?

Multisite certification applies to companies with several operational sites. Instead of auditing each location separately, a combined audit can be conducted.

Can the audit be conducted digitally?

Yes, in some cases audits can be performed digitally, depending on the standard and the organization. Contact us for more information: Digital audit

How do I know if we are ready to be certified?

If you have implemented the requirements of the standard, conducted internal audits, and feel confident in your processes, you are ready for an external audit.

How do I receive the certificate after the audit?

Upon successful completion of the audit, a certificate is issued and delivered both digitally and physically. The certificate is valid for three years, with annual surveillance audits.

What happens if we are not approved during the audit?

If your organization does not pass the audit, you will be given the opportunity to correct the nonconformities identified during the audit. Typically, you will receive a specified time frame to implement corrective actions. Failure to take action may result in denial or withdrawal of the certification.

How often do we need to undergo an audit to maintain certification?

To maintain certification, you must undergo an annual follow-up audit, usually called a surveillance audit. The main recertification audit is typically conducted every three years.

How can our organization prepare for ISO certification?

Preparing for ISO certification involves taking steps to ensure a smooth process. Once you have decided which certification you aim for, there are several actions you can take to prepare. Read more here for useful guidance: How to prepare

Can we become certified for multiple ISO standards at the same time?

Yes, it is possible to achieve certification for multiple ISO standards simultaneously, such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management). This approach can streamline the certification process and provide efficiency benefits.
