On this page, you will find information about the withdrawal of certificates.
In the event of significant changes to the management system, organization, or operations, a written notification to Svensk Certifiering is required. This may be relevant, for example, if there are plans to add or remove sites from the certification. An evaluation is carried out to assess whether the change affects the scope or description stated on the certificate and to ensure that the management system continues to meet the requirements of the applicable standard. Based on this assessment, appropriate actions are determined, such as conducting an audit or a review of the documentation.
Temporary withdrawal of a certificate may occur for various reasons and is assessed individually in each case. A certificate may be temporarily withdrawn for a maximum of six months, after which a new certification audit is required. Reinstatement of a temporarily withdrawn certificate may be granted following an investigation. The outcome of the investigation determines what actions must be taken before the certificate can be reinstated.
When a certificate has been withdrawn, all references to the certification in advertising or other marketing must immediately cease.
When the certificate has been withdrawn, Svensk Certifiering’s public announcement of the certification will cease.
